- -->This function is called the digital loopback. All that is needed in your
- -->you'll be done. This is accomplished by puttin a 0 in the LBE bit of the
- -->Loopback Control Register (I13). You also have the possibility of simply
- -->attenuating this value with the other bits in the I13 register.
- -->
- -->If i remember correctly, base address is for teh indirect registers (like
- -->I13) for the first 5 bits while the 6th bit must be set. base +1 is for
- -->the value. In the case of I13, the lsb is the enable/disable, second bit
- -->is unused and the others are the attenuation, where 0= 0dB attenuation
- -->and 63=94,5dB attenuation.
I think if you use base address of the GUSMAX + 0 for the indirect address
register and Base + 1 for the Data register it will work. I just finished
adding support for the GUSMAX in SNDSTATE V2.2. It's still in beta-testing,
but the code seems to be stable now. This version allows you to change the
Loopback volume and enable bits through a 640x480x16 color mouse controlled
GUI. If you interested in the program, please E-mail me personally.\
